"Had a great conversation with Eileen about the coverage on my new vehicle. She took the time to go over everything and explained the purpose of each (always good to refresh your insurance knowledge) and gave me options/quotes if I wanted to change anything. Eileen also explained how the new billing system works as SF is changing to a new one. Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure speaking with her!"

"I was with Ellie Mills for over 15 years with both my homeowners and car insurance. Over those 15 years, she did nothing to help me. Maybe Ellie Mills herself did a good job back in her day, but the agents she has working for her just do not care enough to help her clients. Each one I dealt with never tried to help me get a better rate or try to help in any way. I was called from one day to another saying that I was being dropped from one insurance and I needed a home inspection that day or else I would be left with no insurance and have to pay thousands more than what I was paying. Her agents did not care nor try to help me in any way. They said there was nothing they could do and if I switched agents, I would have to pay even more. I took my chances and switched to a new state farm agent in Cutler Bay. My new agent helped me lower my insurance! She helped me more in one day than Ellie Mills did in 15 years! In response to their response on this review: They NEVER helped me find a better rate. What they say was outside of their control was a lie...all they had to do was communicate effectively! They would say one thing and the inspection company told me something different. Why was another agent able to help, when Ellie mills said there was nothing they could do? Why did Ellie Mills tell me my policy would increase if I switched agents? Ellie Mills NEVER helped find the best possible options. It was not just this situation that caused me to switch agents, it was years of overpaying and never getting anyone to help."

We understand your frustration and want to clarify that the cancellation of your homeowner’s insurance was due to the inspection requirement set by the insurance company, which unfortunately was outside of our control. We did communicate the necessity of the inspection, and without it, the insurer was unable to continue coverage. Our team always strives to assist clients in navigating these requirements and finding the best possible options. We regret that this situation led to your decision to switch agents and wish you the best with your new coverage. If you have any further questions or need assistance in the future, we’re here to help. Thank you for your additional comments. We take your concerns very seriously and want to assure you that we have detailed records documenting every step we took to assist you, including communications about the inspection requirements and efforts to explore options for your coverage. Our team always aims to provide clear and accurate information, and we regret if there was any misunderstanding. Regarding rates and policy options, insurance premiums can vary based on many factors, including underwriting guidelines that differ between agents and companies. When we discussed the potential increase if switching agents, it was based on the information and quotes available to us at that time. We understand that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we are sorry for any frustration caused over the years. We appreciate your past business and hope you find the coverage and service that best meet your needs. If you would like to discuss this further or review your past policies with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly."
